Reviews
Holiday Park is in a great position, with beautiful grounds and the town is 5 minutes away for those who would like to pick up provisions or dine out. It's also well situated to explore the surrounding area which have areas of natural beauty and to visit other places of interest. The chalets are spacious and provide practically everything that's required for a holiday. I have already recommended this place to others and we will definitely be back in the future.

I would really recommend this holiday to others, it's so relaxing and peaceful. The accommodation is excellent and comfortable. The staff give an exceptional warm and welcoming service, I couldn't fault anything at all.

Park ideally located within easy walking distance to local shops and an ideal base to explore Perthshire. Park set in quiet beautiful surroundings, accommodation clean and well fitted. Tom and Sheila very friendly and welcoming. Enjoyable family holiday, fantastic for kids.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Altamount Holiday Chalets. Tom and Shelia were very helpful and the daily visits from the peacocks were great. The location is very good for touring the area. A really enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

Altamount was ideally situated for both the town and sightseeing in the area. It was great seeing the peacock and his family strolling round the site and the red squirrel was fascinating to watch. We would have no hesitation recommending this site as we would be happy to go back and do the things we didn't have time for this holiday.

A really relaxing stay in a clean and well kept park. We were met by Sheila who gave us tips about Blairgowrie and pointed us in the direction of the local Chinese takeaway! There is a lot to do in Blairgowrie and other surrounding areas, and I would recommend a trip to the hermitage at Dunkeld and also Carnoustie Beach which isn't that far away. The lodges are within a 5 minute walk of shops, pubs and a Tesco so there is everything required to get by for the week.

We had a very relaxing weekend here - just what we needed, peace and quiet in abundance. Tom and Sheila were there to welcome us, and we have to say that nothing was too much trouble for them. The town is within walking distance so there is no need to use the car if you don't want to, there are plenty of eateries too if you don't want to cook either. There is lots to see and do, and the peacocks are magnificent - they are tame enough to let you feed them but please be gentle with them.

Friendly staff at the park, a very thoughtful couple. I found the complimentary tea, coffee & milk VERY welcoming. The kettle was already half filled AND the staff had the sense to put the heating on for us. Little things like that can make and do make all the difference. As a base for visiting Perth & Dundee it's excellent, the park itself is comfortable, pleasantly situated and yes the town centre is only a 5 minute walk. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay and would stay at this park again.

We enjoyed our weekend away. The peacocks arrive everyday just after 4 for a feed and there are a few red squirrels about.

The park is close to the town centre, and handy for buses that run by the lodges that will take you to Perth, Dundee and other areas around if you do not drive.

We had great time. The shops very handy, (within walking distance), busses pass the lodges every half hour going to Perth and Dundee, and Sheila and her husband were very friendly and very helpful. I would come again in the future.

A very nice park set in a woodland area, although it is only a 5 minute walk into town. The owners are very welcoming and our chalet was lovely.
